App of the Week Rundown 07: League of Evil!

Think you have what it takes to save the world from the League of Evil?  Make your way through [over] 160 levels of action-packed fun as you race the clock, collect the intel, and prove to all mad scientists that you’re not screwing around!  This adorable 8-bit masterpiece provides endless challenge, excitement, and fun for the app-lover in all of us.

Set out on a mission to destroy the League of Evil, you, a special trained agent and apparent acrobat, are forced to fight your way through obstacles, complete your mission(s), and track down the mad scientist to “deliver a well earned pixel punch in the face!”

The controls are simple; to the left of the screen is your directional pad: right/left, and to the right you have buttons A and B; A is punch/dash and B is jump!  On your way to saving the world, you have crazy awesome skills such as double jump, wall jump, wall hug… you’re like  a parkour genius!  The League of Evil doesn’t know what they’re in for once you’re in control.

For each level, you can try to achieve 3 stars!  The levels are short, requiring you to think fast and react quickly.  Each level has a set amount of seconds in order to earn each star.  If you’re not concerned with maxing out each level, just make sure to collect the hidden briefcase(s) in each area.

You can find League Of Evil in the iTunes App Store currently on sale for $0.99, available for iPad, iPod Touch, and the iPhone.
