Second Annual Dota 2 Championship 'The International 2012' Begins

Kicking off alongside PAX, the second annual Dota 2 championship The International starts today. The event will be taking place from now until Sunday.

PAX 2012 attendees in Seattle this weekend will be able to sit back and watch the event in the The International event hall free of charge with a quick flash of their PAX badge.

To those not attending PAX Prime in Seattle this year, never fear. The event will be streaming live online from now until Sunday with some commentary, multiple camera angles, and HD video. Oh, and streaming is free for anyone and everyone. No PAX badge necessary. *wink wink*

Last year we watched 16 of the most elite Dota 2 teams face-off for a grand prize of $1 million in Cologne, Germany at Gamescom. Here’s to everyone at PAX 2012 and to the teams competing in The International this year. Good luck, keep calm, and game on.
