Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Coming to Smartphones

Animal Crossing

Nintendo has confirmed today on Twitter that Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is arriving for smartphones and tablets this Wednesday, 22nd of November. On this date, Nintendo’s next portable game will be accessible via Google Play and the App Store for everyone. Time to get those portable camps moving!

Up until now, Animal Crossing was only available in Australia as a soft launch. This is Nintendo’s third proper mobile game. Also, the living proof mobile devices are becoming an intrinsic part of every big studio’s portfolio – and quite big hits.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp in a Nutshell

In this cute, portable game, we can (re)create our own camp and build attractions to attract both visitors and the curious. Tasks are varied: from creating buildings and collecting resources to friendly visits and tons of customization. Animal Crossing will surely feel familiar to any player who has spent some time in any other Nintendo’s life simulators. There’s plenty of nice things to do around and an unhurried, tranquil pace. Microtransactions are still there but as long as Nintendo does not push the bar too far, we should be fine.

Are you planning to download Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp on your mobile devices, Fanatics? What other mobile games are you currently playing? Let us know in the comment section!
