AMD Catalyst 11.6b hotfix update

AMD released today a second hotfix for their Catalyst 11.6 drivers which provide an immediate fix to the bugs found within the previous hot fix. Catalyst 11.6b will fix a BSOD error noted when connecting an HDMI cable and display port based on a Radeon HD graphics card running on Catalyst 11.6. This update also addresses the issue of random screen flickering when idle, and the mouse pointer corruption found with older versions of Catalyst releases. This was a quick update rolled out by AMD and I am extremely impressed with their response time to resolving these issues. Support for AMD’s A8-3800 and their A6-3600 series accelerated processing units.
