I Am Alive 'Encounters' Trailer Teaches You How To Fight

There was a point last year where I thought Ubisoft’s long announce game I Am Alive would never see the light of day, I’m so glad that I was wrong.  I Am Alive was originally announced in 2008 and since then it’s seen more than it’s fair share of development issues and developer team swaps. Finally it found it’s way over to Ubisoft Shanghai and it”s been up from there.

Recently it was announced that  I Am Alive is to be part of Microsofts ‘House Party’ promotion in February, along with Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, Nexuiz and Warp. This promotion begins on February 12th and should bring the attention that I Am Alive so strongly deserves.

In the run up to this promotion the folks at Ubisoft have been releasing trailers aimed at giving you a peak into the game itself. The second trailer, released today, is called ‘Encounters’ and shows you the basics of I Am Alive‘s varied and unique combat systems. So pull up a chair, take some notes and prepare yourself for some post-apocalyptic fun!
