Having previously confirmed only Call of Duty Black Ops 2 for Nintendo‘s next console, Activision announced today its set of Wii U launch titles at Nintendo’s press conference.
Expect to see 007 Legends, Skylanders Giants, and Transformers Prime backing up Black Ops 2 on store shelves in the coming months.
Activision has not confirmed release dates for its upcoming Wii U games but anticipates their availability between November 18, the console’s launch, and March 2013. Such titles include:
- 007 Legends
- Call of Duty Black Ops 2
- Skylanders Giants
- Transformers Prime
- Wipeout 3
- Cabela’s (hunting) and Rapala (fishing) also in development for launch-time release
Compared to the current generation, Activision is supporting Nintendo and its innovations more than ever. They hope to improve significantly from their 2006 Wii launch, which welcomed in just three games of lukewarm reputation — Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Call of Duty 3, and Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam.
