Watch_Dogs Gets Release Date, Trailer

Ubisoft has now confirmed what platforms will be getting Watch_Dogs, and when.  Ubisoft announced today that Watch_Dogs, the highly-anticipated game that looks to play on our fears of “big brother” watching our every move, will be hitting the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii U on November 19th, also coming to the PS4 “at launch” and “other next-generation consoles,” meaning whatever the next Xbox will be called (hint: we think it’s “Infinity”).

First unveiled at E3 2012, people went nuts over the gameplay video, almost certain it was a next-gen game. Turns out they were right, kind of, as Watch_Dogs is also coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360 (we’ll save the argument over whether the Wii U is “next-gen” for another day).

You play the role of “Aiden Pearce, a modern-day vigilante who must rely as much on brains as brawn to take down threats in our increasingly connected world,” according to Ubisoft’s summary of the game, which has shown Pearce with the ability to hack into people’s phones, ATM accounts, and nearby security cameras in his efforts to bring his own brand of justice. Pre-order customers will get a limited-edition poster designed by famed comic book artist Alex Ross, who also did that limited edition Assassin’s Creed III steelbook last year.

Check out the below trailer, and get excited for Watch_Dogs.
