Grand Theft Mario Comes To Life In This Piece Of Fan Art

This is Mario. Riding an ATV. Holding a gun. In a Los Santos type setting. If only we’d get a Nintendo sponsored Grand Theft Auto game to make this a reality. Grand Theft Mario would sell, like, millions of copies.

I must say, as my incredibly slow wireless DSL connection loaded the image, I saw the face of Mario and expected it to be related to The Walking Dead. Then I saw the art style, ATV, and gun. Sufficed to say, I was pleasantly surprised.

This piece of fan art was created by amirulhafiz. Don’t worry, he has a deviantAR page, so you can check out more of his work there. Here’s his description for the image:

so this is Mario with his quad bike. try to evoke the GTA vibe, its very LA, I guess. This artwork was very different compare to my previous artwork, try to be more fun this time :)
many to come, plus animated Grand Theft Mario trailer I been working on, stay tuned :):)
please comment, I would love to know what you think

Did he just say animated Grand Theft Mario trailer? I can hear Wii U owners dreaming from here.
