We discussed the X1 Prototype previously when it was revealed at the Tokyo Game Show last month. Since then we’ve caught sneak glimpses at the sexy curves of it’s pixel perfect chassis and heard promises of how blistering fast the experiment in physics would be on the race track, but never had we been shown the experimental prototype in action, until now…

I’m speechless. I want it, I want it now!
The X1 is a collaboration between Polyphony Digital and Adrian Newey, the Chief Technical Officer over at Red Bull Racing, forGran Turismo 5. The car has been designed around the following idea:
“If you built the fastest racing car on land, one that throws aside all rules and regulations, what would that car look like, how would it perform and how would it feel to drive?”
