Coming next month from Image Comics, Revival is an all-new series set in the universe created from best-selling The Walking Dead comic series.
A three-page preview of Revival will be featured in The Walking Dead issue #99 with a follow up preview arriving shortly after. The five page teaser will be free from Image’s Free Comic Book Day, so that readers can get a glimpse of what is in store for them come the launch of Revival.
Revival is set in rural Wisconsin when a small town changes after one day where the dead come back to life. Unlike the standard cannibalistic zombies that are in The Walking Dead, Revival’s zombies look and act much as the did when they were alive. But as Officer Dana Cypress soon discovers, they are not completely who they used to be.
Revival, created by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton, will be available July 11th, 2012. With monthly, full color issues at $2.99 backing it up. Be sure to check out the digital versions which will be released same day.
