Double Fine And Sega Debut Trailer For The Cave

Ron Gilbert, known for his work on the first two Monkey Island games, is working with Double Fine  on a new project which was unveiled publicly today.

The Cave, published by SEGA, is a side scroller, set to release in 2013 for PC, XBLA, and PSN, featuring, well, a cave. That speaks, apparently.

You’ll pick a team of three different adventurers, ranging from monk, scientist, knight, and others, to explore the depths of said cave and discover sights and scenes never thought possible. Or possible to exist in a cave. I mean, who expects to stumble upon an underground amusement park?

Each of the game’s playable characters will have unique abilities that suit the character’s personalities, such as the hillbilly being able to hold his breath underwater.
