If you’re a fan of Final Fantasy and an iPad owner, you may have been waiting expectantly for Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions to make the leap from iPhone and iPod Touch to your beloved Apple tablet. Well, Square Enix has announced that the wait is over.
Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions is a tactical turn based RPG. It was originally released by Square Enix for the PlayStation Portable in 2007 as a remake of the original 1997 PlayStation classic Final Fantasy Tactics, adding new cut scenes, scenarios and jobs. The iPhone/iPod Touch version was released late last year. The new iPad version includes all the tactical roleplaying fun of its previous iterations, but naturally has been optimized for the tablet’s larger screen. The expanded playing field no doubt makes the intuitive touch panel controls even easier to navigate.
