ASUS has partners up with Exent to provide premium content and casual games for ASUS’ @vibe entertainment platform. Exent’s ad-supported game services features hundreds of full games. The FreeRide Games application will come pre-installed on ASUS PC’s that include the EeePC, ZENBOOK, N and U series product lines. @vibe provides users with access to music, videos, games, magazines and more. With the new partnership with Exent, users will be able to play popular casual games, including Diner Dash, The Treasures of Montezuma, The Secret of Margrave Manor and Build-a-lot series for free. There is no trial time or demo, users will have unlimited access to full games.
“ASUS believes in bringing a variety of content to our consumers and the FreeRide Games service will be a valuable addition to the @vibe family,” noted Vira Chang, the Head of eBusiness Service Dept., ASUS. “Additionally, we are encouraged by the increased revenue potential the addition of FreeRide Games represents.”
I am writing this from my ASUS laptop, so naturally I’m curious what ASUS has to bring me. Look for the new games later this year.
