Xbox LIVE Is Down

Panic ensues after Microsoft broke word today that the Xbox LIVE and Games for Windows services are down temporarily.

Major Nelson broke work on his Twitter and his blog that Microsoft was aware of some technical difficulties and are working to fix the problem. We’re only waiting on a legion of fans looking to overreact by saying they’re gonna buy a PS3 and never buy another Microsoft product again. No, but really, the problem should be fixed soon and you’ll be able to go back to tearing it up in Gears of War 3.
