DiRT 2 Coming to Mac

Today, it was announced that DiRT 2 (a.k.a. Colin McRae: DiRT 2 outside of the U.S.) will be on it’s way to Mac computers sometime in the near future.

Feral Interactive’s popular racing title includes over 100 seperate race events, nine stunning locations across the globe, a challenging career mode and a top-notch line-up of super-charged speed machines combine aggressively to deliver spectacular, nerve-shattering racing. DiRT 2 puts players behind the wheel for in an experience that combines sublime handling, gorgeous visuals and dynamic competition creating one of the richest off-road racing experiences in gaming.

DiRT 2 received great reviews and is now often considered one of the premiere racing franchises, making it a big success, so it was a logical step to bring the game to Mac.

DiRT 2 for the Mac will retail in North America for US $39.99, £24.95 (inc. VAT) in the UK and €29.95 (inc. VAT) throughout Europe. It will also be available online for direct download from a variety of digital partner sites worldwide including feralinteractive.com and the Mac App Store.

Minimum Requirements

1.4GHz Intel Mac with at least 2GB RAM, 128MB or better graphics card, and Mac OS X v10.6.7 or later. The following graphics cards are NOT supported: NVIDIA 7xxx series and Intel GMA series.
