New The Division 2 Content Takes The Player Back To New York

A few weeks ago we were given the chance to get an early look at what is coming to The Division 2. Everyone has already seen the story trailer for the Coney Island DLC, but we were able to get our hands on Warlords of New York. In this DLC, players will be hunting down the infamous rogue Division agent, Aaron Keener, but first, you will have to make it through the other rogue agents he has managed to recruit. As you take down each rogue agent, you will gain access to new story elements and new skills.

With this DLC comes new weapons, an overhaul to the RPG system, and access to different areas around Lower Manhattan which has been recently hit by a hurricane. These areas include Two Bridges, Chinatown, and Wall Street. The system changes will make it easier for players to create that perfect build for every situation. It also makes things a lot more simple to understand. The new level cap will increase by 10 levels from 30 to 40. Those who want to jump directly into the new content will be able to start at level 30 without grinding the previous content.

The Division 2 Warlords of New York expansion introduces seasons, a battle pass, and the return of global events. These additions give access to new loot, story missions, and new activities throughout the game world. There will be no shortage of content for players to consume.

Year 1 pass holders will gain access to Episode 3 – Coney Island: The Hunt starting February 12th and all other players will gain access starting on the 19th. This episode will serve as a prequel to Warlords of New York, so definitely check that out. The Warlords of New York expansion will be available for all on March 3, 2020.
