There’s a buzz going around the net about Halo: Combat Evolved returning as a remake done by the same people behind Timeshift, Saber Interactive. Rumor has it that it will be in 1080p and offer online support. Joystiq mentions a release at the time of Halo’s tenth anniversary in November of this year.
Halo: Combat Evolved will hopefully be remade and redone in a way that fans of the series will enjoy and to those who still regard the first Halo as the best in the series. Gameplay and story should remain the same and the addition to polished graphics and online co-op will make it that much better.
