Nioh Updates Detailed for March, April

Nioh is about to get a whole lot tougher. Koei Tecmo has shed some light on some upcoming free updates, as well as the first bit of DLC. Here’s a breakdown of some of the free content headed your way.

Late March

High-difficulty missions added. 10 types of missions, including some with the feel of boss rushes.

Late April

PVP arrives in Nioh. Both this and the March update are free.

Nioh is Receiving Higher-Difficulty Missions and More in Upcoming Free Updates

Let’s talk about paid content updates. Nioh‘s first DLC is titled “Dragon of Tohoku” and will launch in late April. The DLC will feature the following:

  • New weapon types
  • New scenarios
  • New characters
  • New guardian spirits
  • New yokai
  • New stages

The second piece of DLC is called “Japan’s Best Warrior” and the third “Peaceful and Tranquil.” We can only imagine how difficult this content will be, but personally I’m most intrigued by PVP. How will it play? Let us know what you think down below.
