Overwatch Goes Free for November 18th-November 21st

Cheers loves, the cavalry’s here. November has already been a huge month with the releases of Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1, but it looks like Blizzard is still making sure we all have at least tried Overwatch by making it free to play from November 18th to November 21st.

This free period will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. If you are playing on console you will need either a PlayStation Plus account or Xbox Live Gold, and a free Battle.net account on PC.

Official details according to Blizzard’s website reveals that just about everything will be available during this free trial. The game will be free to play from 11:00 AM Pacific time until 4:00 PM Pacific time on November 21st. All maps and modes currently out will be available to play. Also, any and all progress you make will carry over to the full game. However, if you want play as Overwatch’s newest hero, the long awaited hacker Sombra, you need to wait a bit longer. While she is currently available in beta from on Blizzard’s public test servers, she isn’t ready just yet.

So what if you can’t hack and boop? This online experience might just be one of the most addictive out ther, and deeply beloved among Game Fanatics staff. With over 20 million registered players for this game, a passionate fanbase, and some of the greatest animation and character designs currently in the industry, this is a game worth checking out even if it is just for one weekend. Just watch out for Bastion, avoid Roadhog, and keep Mercy close – you’ll be fine.
