Greenberg Responds to Sony PR Comments

Looks like Sony had some balls to take shots towards Microsoft and their 360. In case you missed it, Rob Dyer from Sony recently stated that the Xbox 360 had “very few first-party studios at Microsoft.”

He went on to say that they only have Halo Reach and Fable III, while “Rare rarely puts out anything.” To really smash the Seattle-based company, he stated, “So rather than putting their money behind that, they’ve been going to Epic or Valve or BioWare to do what they did with Mass Effect, and that’s where they throw their dollars.” (thanks IG.)

Do you think Aaron Greenberg would let that slide? Oh no, sir. While still praising the Playstation 3, Greenberg went on to say Microsoft will always have the most exclusives. “There’s no other platform that offers more exclusives,” he stated to CVG. “Obviously there are going to be great games on the PlayStation 3, and we respect that, but our goal is to have the most blockbuster titles and the most exclusives and I think we clearly have that this year.”

So here is our question: where does that leave the company with the number-one franchise all of time?
