The Crew by Ubisoft Will Be Rolling Into Stores This Autumn

Ubisoft has announced that the new driving title, The Crew (developed by Ubisoft Reflections and Ivory Tower), will be released this fall, and will be available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

The Crew is a driving and racing game, that takes place in a detailed recreation of the United States, specifically designed for the new generation of consoles. It allows players to race on their own in a campaign, with a friendly crew or against rival crews in multiplayer. Along with the extensive landscape, comes extensive customization for a wide selection of  vehicles. The further a user progresses through the game, the more parts and accessories they can unlock to make their car truly unique. Cars are customizable through each individual vehicles’ six possible tuning specs for street racing as well as off-road circuits. The Crew also promotes use on secondary devices. On IOS, Android tablets and the internet, the user can customize cars, chat remotely, and assign jobs to their crew if they are not near their console or playing on their PC.

The Crew gameplay

There are two editions of The Crew available for pre-order on the One and PS4. The Limited Edition, which will allow the user early access to the BMW Z4, sDrive35is, Mini Cooper, and Dodge Ram SRT-10, as well as their full customization kits, will help players adapt with both the on road and off-road aspects of the game. The second, The Muscle Edition, comes with the same early access features as The Limited Edition, but adds early access to the 2015 Ford Mustang GT. The Limited Edition can be pre-ordered from most retailers, but The Muscle Edition is a GameStop pre-order exclusive. However, both editions of The Crew come with 10,000 extra Crew Credits.
