See Killzone: Shadow Fall’s New Maps

Guerilla’s PlayStation 4 launch exclusive Killzone: Shadow Fall is getting free maps. Free is good. The first map detailed on the PlayStation Blog is The Cruiser, set in an ISA cruiser. It’s been out of service, making it all the more open for intense shootouts. Containing tight corridors and plenty of ways to move around, this one is built for close range.

The other map, The Hangar, is a bit more long-range friendly. This one is built for snipers, with some routes to sneak around for those avoiding the sniper’s crosshairs. Check out the concept art for each in the gallery below.

This is but the first wave in Killzone: Shadow Fall’s DLC push. There is currently an expansion pack on the way, and more free content to come. As usual with season passes, holders will get all of the DLC, and it it seems that all Killzone players will get the free maps at the same time, with no exclusivity for those with the Season Pass. The maps will be fully compatible with the Custom Warzone feature.
