During the latest Pokemon Direct announcement it was released that the classic Pokemon Charmander, Squritle, and Bulbasaur will be available as starter Pokemon in the new Pokemon X & Y games this October. Wow, that was a mouthful. Who will you choose?
These classic Pokemon also have the option to turn into Mega Venusaur, Mega Charizard, or Mega Blastoise in the new games via the new unique “Mega Stone” that will cause them to “Mega Evolve”.
Information about the Mega Stone was released as well.
More secrets about Mega Evolution were revealed today. It is now known that players will need to obtain a bracelet called the Mega Ring that holds a mysterious stone called a Key Stone. The Trainer’s Key Stone resonates with the Mega Stone held by his or her Pokémon, and together they trigger the Evolution that is normally impossible—Mega Evolution.
