99Vidas Physical Edition Announced

99Vidas Physical Edition

QUByte Interactive and 99Vidas podcast have teamed up with Strictly Limited Games to release a 99Vidas physical edition of the PS4 and PSVita version of 99Vidas. The game will be available to order soon on Strictly Limited Games’ official website with worldwide shipping options.

99Vidas brings back the beat’em ups nostalgia of the 90’s due to its inspiration from classic titles such as Final Fight, Double Dragon, Battletoads, Golden Axe and Streets of Rage and it’s all represented in beautiful 16-bit graphic to give that old school feeling.

The main difference compared to the games that inspired 99Vidas, this game features two different attack buttons: Punch and Kick. Both can be used in various degrees to generate different combos.

As players progress through the game’s story mode, they’ll earn Experience Points which can in turn be used to upgrade character skills such as expanding damage inflicted and adding elemental damage to punch and kicks.

99Vidas physical edition is also part of the elite Cross-Buy family meaning if you buy either the PS4 or Vita version, you get the other one as well. And it takes use of the Cross-save feature across both feature. And for those who still have a Playstation TV, this game includes support for it.

The game can be played with friends as well, similar to other classic fighters. The PS4 version supports up to 4 players co-op and 2 on the Vita.
