Harder Difficulties: Inconceivable And Iron Man
For those that say Insane is too easy (though I have no idea how those words are uttered from your mouth) this one’s for you. Cogs can now put their new gear to the test and try the new difficulties coming to both Campaign and Horde mode.
Inconceivable
This is the direct next step for players fighting on Insane. As your health gets weaker, the swarm gets stronger. Leveling up your new skills to 6 is going to be key if you want to survive 1-50 on this one.
For Campaign players this creates a survival based mode. While your health is dropped lower than Insane difficulties, so are the enemies. The key is going to be the effectiveness and coordination of your squad. Guns are going to hold smaller amounts of ammo so whatever you find will have to make do. If you’re eager to try this slight twist to the Gears formula be sure to finish the campaign on Insane first so it’s unlocked.
Ironman
With Ironman it’s kill or be killed with the new brings perma-death system. In the campaign dying starts you back at the very beginning no matter where you are. In Horde, no COGs will drop when you die and if your team fails to complete the wave, its game over.
Ironman will add 5% XP bonuses for all XP and XP bounties earned.
