3DVIA today announced that they have partnered with Mixamo to offer realistic animated 3D characters on their online store for use in games and other apps. This will enable developers to shorten dev cycles, whilst keeping the standard of quality high. You can find the Mixamo collection on the Mixamo Animation Collection page. Here are the details:
· 80 Mixamo 3D animated characters are available on the 3dvia.com Store
· Animations are searchable via a “Mixamo” link from the top-level “Store” tab on 3dvia.com
· Animations come bundled with their geometry, rigs and textures
· Characters, including humans and animals, are optimized for the 3DVIA Studio game engine
· Plans to add more characters from the thousands on the Mixamo website are in the works
