Bloodborne Official Gamescom Demo Gameplay Released, Looks Stunning in 1080p

We finally get a good look at Bloodborne in beautiful 1080p. This 6-minute play-thru showcases the game’s weapon transformation mechanic as well as showing some of the Regain system that we saw in that off-screen footage. We also see the player interact with what looks like an NPC who aids the player in combat, it is still not known if the NPC could be controlled by another player or not.

The demo also gives us a better look at the Cleric Beast, a huge boss that the player fights on a bridge. Notice the detail on the rain-soaked cobblestone streets and the fog emanating from old streetlamps. The moody and unsettling atmosphere that Miyazaki is known for is in full effect here. The music kicks in and it’s the same music that is played in the original Project Beast trailer that many speculate Sony had previously withdrawn from their TGS 2013 conference. Very Interesting.
