Wii U Launch Receives Six Ubisoft Titles, More On The Way

If you plan on getting a Nintendo Wii U around the console’s November 18th North American launch, chances are you’ll be picking up a game from Ubisoft.

In a press release issued today, Ubisoft announced they’ll be shipping six titles for the Wii U launch. For those counting at home, that’s six out 23 games. That amounts to around one in every for games… basically, 25% of the selection. Available on November 18th are Assassin’s Creed III, ESPN Sports Connection, Just Dance 4, Rabbids Land, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2013, and ZombiU. The exact same lineup will be available for the November 30th European launch.

For the system’s “launch window,” Ubisoft plans to release Marvel Avengers:  Battle For Earth on December 4th, and Rayman Legends – the Wii U exclusive sequel to the well-received Rayman: Origins, set to hit stores in early 2013.

Ubisoft had success catering to the Wii market. They’re looking to make a splash with the Wii U’s market too. Based on both their dedication for the system’s launch and commitment to bringing key third party franchises to the Wii U, they’re well on their way.
