A week ahead of schedule, the new Mechromancer DLC for Borderlands 2 has been released.
The Mechromancer adds a fifth character to the already existing four of playable characters. You can think of the Mechromancer as the pet class of Borderlands 2. Her name is Gaige, and her cool little robot ally is Deathtrap.
You can download this new DLC as of right now for your preferred console or PC for free if you are a Borderlands 2 Premiere Club Member, $10 otherwise. Take caution when downloading though, as it seems that many players are reporting the patch may wipe your badass ranks and some users are reporting they are losing skins, heads, and even character saves. Which sounds just like the last patch… GearBox hasn’t made any statement on the issue yet. Just proceed with caution!
