Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two to be Released This Fall

Today (Friday, March 23rd), it was announced by Disney Interactive Media Group that a sequel to Disney Epic Mickey, Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, is being developed and will be released fall of 2012. The game features a new character, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Oswald is Walt Disney’s first character and he will partner with Mickey and bring life to abandoned Disney attractions and forgotten Disney characters by way of the paint and paint thinner brush wielded by Mickey, and Oswald’s remote which restores power. The game allows characters to explore all storylines through the consequences of the choices made throughout the game.

Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is the first videogame that can be considered a musical. Throughout the game the characters will express themselves in song. The tunes and instrumentation of the songs  will differ depending on previous choices made in the game, allowing the player to compose a unique soundtrack.

Disney Epick Mickey 2: The Power of Two will be released this fall for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and PlayStation Move.
