PS3 Owners Rejoice! Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Weekends Now Available For PS3

We let you guys know yesterday about the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer weekend “Operation Exorcist” that would be taking place starting today at 6:00PM PST until Monday morning at 5:00AM PST. At the time of writing that last article, the only players that would be able to participate were PC and Xbox 360 gamers. It seems that now PS3 has been thrown into the mix as well. Not just for this weekend, but it’s here to stay for every multiplayer weekend from here on out.

In case you missed the article yesterday or need to be filled in to what’s at stake during this weekend of online Cerberus Phantom slaughter, here are the deets again below.

There’s two goals that can be completed over the course of the multiplayer weekend.

  • Allied Goal: Kill 1,000,000 Cerberus Phantoms
  • Squad Goal: Survive until extraction on any map and any enemy on Gold difficulty

Each goal has a respective award that goes along with it upon completion.

  • Allied Goal: Upon successful completion players will be granted with a Victory Pack
  • Squad Goal: Upon successful completion a Commendation Pack will be awarded to all squad mates

The only other thing you need to know about this weekend is that if you don’t want all of those kills and deaths to be in vain, remember to set “Upload Gameplay Feedback” to “ON” in your online options. There’s only a few hours left before Operation Exorcist begins. So what are you waiting for? Get your squads together, maybe a few snacks, and some extra batteries or charged up controllers to make sure you don’t miss a minute of the action.

See you on the battlefield, and good luck to you and your squads!
