Introducing Final Fantasy Crystal Conquest

SquareEnix has been hinting at a new Final Fantasy game recently. Many thought it would be Final Fantasy Tactics 2, however alas, that is not true. Instead, SquareEnix has announced a Japanese Yahoo! browser based game called Crystal Conquest. It takes RTS and action genres and brings them together as two teams of twenty must try to defeat each other. In this sidescroller game, gamers will have a deck of cards that will be used before and during the action sequences.

Those in Japan will be able to sign up for alpha testing on the 9th of April and testing will last from the 12th until the 16th.

No word yet on a European or US release.

More details to sign up, here, but keep in mind, its only avaiable in Japan right now.
