Hello and welcome back to In Case You Missed It, your weekly gaming news roundup! Let us not waste anymore time and jump right into the news that you may have missed.

In Case You Missed It, Turok 2 Is Coming Back!

No, not a sequel to the mediocre title from 2008, but a port of the Nintendo 64 classic. Daniel Grayshon from Night Shift Studios revealed on the Steam Community page that Turok 2 is indeed coming. Night Dive Studios already ported the first Turok to the PC with some extra features and settings and the community loves it. Daniel states “Turok 2 is a bigger game, more enemies, more weapons, more locations and most importantly…Turok 2 had Multiplayer.” Wait, hold the dinosaur eggs. Does that mean we will get online multiplayer support for Turok 2? If so, I am sold but when does it actually release? “When its done.”

In Case You Missed The Next Final Fantasy XIV Expansion Reveal…

It’s titled Stormblood! That was a quick reveal, not sure if I gave you enough time to guess. Regardless, Stormblood is the second expansion for the popular MMO and was officially revealed at the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival. Hosted in Las Vegas, FanFest brings thousands of Final Fantasy fans for what appears to be quite the event. Cosplay contests, long swag lines, meeting the developers and most importantly, what the future holds for Final Fantasy XIV. Releasing summer 2017, Stormblood will feature new regions to explore, new job classes, raised level caps, extended story and much more. Check out the beautifully action packed cinematic trailer for Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood below!

In Case You Have Been Wanting To Use A Playstation 4 Controller With Steam…

Your wish is finally coming true. During Steam Dev Days this week, Jeff Bellinghausen from Valve showcased an upcoming update that allows the Playstation 4 controller to be used with Steam. Why support the Playstation controller? That’s simple, it uses the same API’s as the Steam controller. This means Developers can easily support the touchpad and gyro functions found on the Playstation 4 controller. For those of us that prefer and own those Playstation controllers, this is a major win.

That is all we have today for your weekly digest of gaming news. Be sure to check back next week for more In Case You Missed It!
