Xbox Live’s February Games With Gold Revealed

Games With Gold February

Microsoft has revealed details about the upcoming free games via their Games With Gold, from new indie titles to ancient classics.

First off, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is available from February 1-28th on Xbox One.

This single or co-op adventure will put your skills to the test as you attempt to control a spaceship via multiple rooms that hold different functions for your ship. While an AI partner is given if you choose to take on this challenge solo, the game was clearly made to work with someone else (as long as you refrain from yelling at each other).

Next on the Xbox One list we have Project Cars: Digital Edition from developer Slightly Mad Studios.

This simulation racer takes on the greats like Gran Turismo & Forza Motorsport by providing high octane action that requires incredible concentration present in all challenging sim racers. With 74 cars and over 100 tracks to explore, there’s plenty of miles to be covered in this ambitious racer.

Available for Xbox 360 (and on Xbox One via backwards compatibility), gamers can get their hands on Monkey Island 2: Special Edition from the 1st to the 15th, and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed from the 16th to the 28th.

Monkey Island 2: Special Edition features revamped controls of this point & click adventure game classic, as well as additional developers commentaries.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is the first entry in this Star Wars series. Playing as Darth Vaders new apprentice Starkiller, you’re tasked with hunting down the remaining Jedi after the Emperor had executed order 66. While no longer canon, it remains a fascinating expansion to the Star Wars universe and better yet, for free.
