Winter is Coming: Cyanide to Develop Another Game of Thrones Videogame

The fact that Game of Thrones: Genesis was a disappointment doesn’t stop Cyanide from wanting to develop another Game of Thrones videogame. This time, Cyanide plans on developing a RPG based in the Game of Thrones world, although it won’t feature any of the main characters that you may know from the original A Song of Ice and Fire book series.

Instead, the game looks to be focusing on the wall, from the looks of the trailer. Here it is below:

I really enjoy Martin’s book series and the HBO TV adaptation has proven to be quite faithful, so far. I hope that Cyanide can develop something that quite lives up to both their standards, although the graphics from this trailer makes me cringe a little. I hope that this trailer was released for hype and not to show off what the game actually looks like, since the graphics are on par with the industry standard… from 2005. Still, never judge a book by its cover. Who knows? While the new Game of Thrones may not look fantastic, it’s possible that the gameplay and story will be excellent.
