Feel Free to Get Messy with the Razer ‘Ultimate’ Keyboard

Razer BlackWidow Ultimate

For every fist-pumping victorious moment, there’s a chance of accidental water spillage on your keyboard. But thanks to the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate which is resistant to both water and dust, you can game with confidence, minus the damage.

PC powerhouse Razer has just released a dust and water resistant version of the BlackWidow keyboard. Hopefully this signals the end of the era of keyboards fried from soda and water spillage. The BlackWidow Ultimate is poised to become the best current gaming keyboard.

The keyboard boasts near flawless dust and water resistances. It is IP54 water and dust resistant certified.  Razer describes the device as “One that’s designed to take a beating, hold up during furious key-smashing, and is water and dust-resistant so it remains pristine always.”

The general specifications are outline as follows:

  • Razer™ Mechanical Switches with 50 g actuation force
  • 80 million keystroke life span
  • Water- and Dust-Resistant
  • 10 key roll-over anti-ghosting
  • Individually backlit keys with dynamic lighting effects

Similar to Razer’s other BlackWidow keyboards, the BlackWidow Ultimate offers many desirable features.  First off, these keyboards will offer the satisfying click of mechanical keys.  The laptops have chroma lighting, optimized illumination, 5 macro keys, a USB/Audio pass through, a braided fiber cable and programmable keys.  Tournament editions of the BlackWidow keyboards are also available.

The keyboard is available now directly from Razer for $109.99. Before the start of December, the device will become available worldwide. Grab it now so you can enjoy those holiday sweets in front of your screen without worrying about gumming up your keyboard!
