Smite's Beta Begins June 1st, Registration Still Open

A funny thing happened yesterday when I played Tribes: Ascend during Diablo III‘s downtime: I was informed that Smite‘s beta begins June 1st.

Sure enough, the game’s official website has a countdown timer that is set to expire on June 1st. So make sure you get on to your High Rez Studios account, register for the beta, and cross your fingers. Or, at the least bit, play some Tribes: Ascend, because with all that Diablo III downtime we’re having, you need a faced pace shooter to ease your mind.

Smite is the third person MOBA game currently under development at High Rez Studios. We played, and loved it, at PAX East 2012.
