The creators of the Sins of a Solar Empire series are taking their brand of real time strategy back to the dark ages, and in this new trailer, introduce the first of many “Hero” characters.

According to the official site, Sins of a Dark Age will be a “hero and commander” strategy game, in which you control a small group of heroes and commander in order to accomplish a series of goals. As you progress, more heroes, commanders and factions become available which you can take head to head against other players in multiplayer or team up cooperatively to defend against enemy hordes.
Developed by Ironclad Games and published by Infinite, Sins of a Dark Age will be available free to play with an item shop offering additional units and cosmetic upgrades.
