New Logan Trailer Slashes its Way Online

2 months ago 20th Century Fox released the first trailer for their latest film in the X-Men franchise, Logan. Today they released a second trailer that gives us a more in depth look into the final story of Wolverine. Let’s check it out!

Reprising his role as Logan, Hugh Jackman stars alongside Patrick Stewart and Dafne Keen. Patrick Stewart will be playing his iconic character Charles Xavier while Dafne Keen plays the newly introduced Laura Kinney. New to the cinematic universe, Kinney will be playing mutant X-23. As you can see from the trailer, she and Logan are not holding back their punches.

Logan is set in the near future that follows an older Wolverine protecting his oldest friend Professor X from the world. Then everything changes when the young mutant X-23 shows up while being pursued by the Reavers. It appears this film will be an adaptation of comic series, Old Man Logan. While not being a direct adaptation due to Marvel Studios owning the rights to certain characters featured in the comic. However, Logan will share many similarities with the comic.

This is the first time we are finally getting a Wolverine film with a R-rating. Fans have been asking for this for quite some time now. This is in result to the success of Deadpool last year. So thank you Deadpool! It only took 3 standalone Wolverine movies to get there but I’m glad we did. Seeing X-23 and Wolverine tearing into people with blood is going to be worth the wait.

As much as I would like to say this movie is about me and my secret life, it sadly is not. You’ll be able to see Logan in theaters on March 3rd, 2017. That is, if you can pull yourself away from the Nintendo Switch that releases the same day.
