Silence: The Whispered World 2 Hits Platforms in Early 2015

When Microsoft announced their ID@Xbox program at the unveiling of their eighth-generation console, indie developers around the globe were excited to bring their games to the Xbox One. Earlier this month, Daedalic Entertainment officially announced Silence: The Whispered World 2 will be coming to Xbox One.

Daedalic Entertainment, the Germany-based indie developer, is well-known for their engaging narrative-driven games and Silence: The Whispered World 2 is no exception to this standard. The studio’s upcoming title focuses on the story of Noah and his younger sister Renie as they attempt to overcome the many obstacles in their world. On this journey to find his sister, Noah finds himself in the ranks of a rebel army, bent on bringing war to the Queen.

Speaking of their latest project, Studio Manager Steffen Boos commented that, “We think the new generation of consoles offers a platform that is ideal for indie development, and with the new gameplay we’re introducing to the adventure genre with The Whispered World 2, adventure games now also can be a good fit to consoles.”

Below, you can find the original announcement trailer for Daedelic’s upcoming title.
