LawBreakers Announces a Free Weekend on Steam

Lawbreakers

LawBreakers launched on August 8 after a lengthy period of beta testing. While the game is scoring overall “Very Positive” on Steam, the truth is, PC numbers are not really accompanying its launch. This seems not to impact its matchmaking as of now although it’s a worrying sign indeed for a game that is just traversing its second month alive.

Throwing the towel, however, it’s not an option for development team Boss Key. A few days ago, creator Cliff Bleszinski declared that the team was going to keep the game alive. “It’s a marathon. Not a sprint,” Bleszinski said. “We’re going to keep iterating, keep working on it”. He also commented on how “humbling” their release had felt, linking their situation with that of Warframe, which also started low but ranked up thanks to the developers’ commitment to release fresh content nevertheless.

As part of this pledge, Boss Key has announced a free weekend for everyone on Steam, starting this September 28 and until October 2. This piece of news has arrived through a special trailer, where LawBreakers‘ weapon repertoire shines in all its glory:

All things considered, this is your chance to join their Gravity-Defying ranks and try how LawBreakers feels and looks like by yourself. And maybe you should, according to our very own Fanatic Forbes Jones, who had a total blast playing it. On top of that, Steam is currently selling the game with a 25% discount for everyone so you can snatch it up at a better price if you end up enjoying it.

Have you tried this crazy fast-paced FPS, Fanatics? What’s your opinion on it? Are you looking forward to trying LawBreakers out this weekend? Let us know in the comment section down below!
