Clash Royale Brings New Mode and Cards in Next Update

Clash Royale

The end of March is bringing a very special anniversary update for Clash Royale. The famous Supercell hit is celebrating their first year with quite a display of content. The novelties include new cards, a brand new mode, an extra arena for legendary players, and new League rewards. All of this is arriving on Friday, March 24th, so get ready!

Clash Royale’s Latest Update in a Nutshell

Probably the most demanded feature of all was the possibility of engaging into 2 vs 2 battles, allowing players to defend your clan’s honor with the help of a clanmate. Supercell has heard the suggestions of the community and it’s delivering what they call Clan Battles. If you would like to see how they look like, click here.

On top of that, the update is bringing new cards to the roster. Bandit is an Arena 9 Legendary Card that has the ability to dash nearby targets, dealing double damage if she hits a target with her dash. The Bats card will be obtained in Arena 8 and it’s similar to the Skeletons one. Aerial and faster, their only downside is that they cannot be used to pull ground units. The Night Witch card is obtained also in Arena 8 and she will summon Bats every 5 seconds.

There’s also a new Legendary Arena 11 unlocking at 3,800 Trophies. This means that the current Hog Mountain Arena will take its place as Arena 10. They are also deploying a 9 Tier League system that grants you monthly season rewards based on the highest League you reach. When a season finishes and you qualify, a new Draft Chest lets you choose your own reward from a pool of cards. Last but not least, the update is also tweaking minor balance issues with the game.
