Amazon Takes Your Heart, Canceling Persona 5 Limited Editions 2 Weeks Before Release

With Persona 5 just around the corner after being delayed from its initial US debut on February 14th, fans of the critically acclaimed series were sad to hear that Amazon was going to be canceling Persona 5 orders of the “Take Your Heart” limited edition.

Posted by several Reddit users, Amazon emails have began being sent out stating that due to the contents containing “dangerous good”, the orders could not be completed.

Reddit user asung312 posted this picture of the email sent out by Amazon.

While panic regarding the Steelbook editions of Persona 5 had people nervous, it has been confirmed that the contents of that edition remain fine and all orders should be carried out as planned.

Some users have yet to receive emails from Amazon, keeping some hope alive for fans of the Persona series but Amazons message seems quite clear.

Some fans have started suggesting that people should grab what special editions they can from local retailers but with the game coming up on its release date in just a couple weeks, the odds are slim.

Regardless, Persona 5 will be hitting store shelves in the US on April 4th, 2017 leaving fans enduring the brutal wait from the Japanese versions release at ease.

If the cancelation has you down, the Velvet Room wardens were just revealed in Persona 5 showing off characters Caroline & Justine.

Are any Persona fans out there affected by the Amazon cancelation? Let us know in the comments below!
