The White House Hosted a Competitive Gaming Event Yesterday

Yup, you heard that right. For the first time ever the White House hosted a gaming marathon, and it had gaming celebrities like Gootecks, VoyBoy, and even the basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal.

The livestream started 4pm EST  on a Twitch channel called “getcovered” and was held to raise awareness among Americans that December 15 is the last day for them to register or change their healthcare coverage. The event was hosted by Twitch streamer and program manager Anna Prosser “missclicks” Robinson, and who was joined by Gootecks and Goldenboy who commentated on Street Fighter and Rocket League matches.
