This Week In Games

You hear that sound? That’s the sound of the holiday season rapidly approaching. It begins, like the leaves of autumn falling from trees, all at once. Before you know it, your green lawn is covered with red, brown, and yellow.

Don’t believe me? Let’s take a look at this week’s marquee releases:

Dark Souls (360, Ps3) The challenging sequel to Demon’s Souls.

RAGE (PC, 360, PS3) The latest shooter from id Software.

NBA 2K12 (PC, 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii) This years entry in the critically acclaimed basketball series.

Payday: The Heist (PC, PSN) Think of it as Left 4 Dead, only instead of zombies it’s cops and robbers.

Crysis (XBLA, PSN) The graphically intense PC shooter makes its way to consoles as a downloadable title.

As always, you can expect some fanatical coverage on all these games.

Get it? Fanatical coverage? Man, I crack myself up…
