Watch: Prey’s Mimic Madness Gameplay Trailer

Bethesda has released a new gameplay trailer for their first-person sci-fi action game, Prey. The trailer showcases one of the many special abilities we’ll be able to use against the alien investigation known as the Typhoon that have taken over the space station Talos I. Watch the full “Mimic Madness” gameplay trailer for a few ways to use this power against your enemies.

Take Control With Mimic Matter

In Prey, Mimic Matter allows us to take control of objects within the environment. Need to access small or closed off areas? Take control of a coffee mug, picture frame, or even a banana! As you progress through the game you’ll be able to level up this special ability. Soon you’ll be able to take control of bigger and more complex objects such as robots or turrets to defend yourself. Over 400 items are found in-game that can be controlled by Mimic Matter, allowing for a variety of ways to play and explore the Talos I space station. Again, Mimic Matter is only one of the powers you’ll be able to obtain in-game; imagine what other abilities Arkane Studios has in store for us.

Prey

Prey was first revealed at E3 2016 during Bethesda’s press conference. Arkane Studios’ newest sci-fi thriller is scheduled to release this Spring on May 5th, 2017. Prey will be available on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. For more information on Prey make sure to check back here or visit Prey‘s official website.
