Watch: Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition Launch Trailer

Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition

If you haven’t gone through Dark Souls III yet, it might be the best time to get most complete, and painful, experience. Bandai Namco launched its definitive edition with Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition. It includes all its DLC and it’s available, both in virtual and physical copies, for the PS4 and Xbox One at a $49.99 price tag.

On the other side, PC gamers will still have to buy the game and its expansions separately. The bundle can cost as much as $85, a big difference between platforms.

One Challenge Ends, Another Begins

From Software crowned the series with the second and final DLC: Dark Souls III: The Ringed City. As for the future of the saga, Hidetaka Miyazaki has specified that a fourth installment isn’t on their minds. However, even if Dark Soul‘s future is uncertain, we know what Bandai Namco is up to next. They recently revealed their new IP: Code Vein

Their newest project is set to keep the challenge bar high. In the new RPG players take on the role of a transforming vampire. Even if it resembles the Dark Souls series in style, the design surprises, with anime-like characters crushing beasts in gruesome battle. As you might expect, drinking blood will make you stronger and fuel special attacks. Code Vein is scheduled for release in 2018.
