Thermaltake’s New Chair is Cool – Literally

Thermaltake

Gaming companies have long relied on somewhat excessive accessories to attract new customers. Thermaltake is one of the companies trying to develop unconventional products to keep gamers interested. In response, the company has developed a new chair to help cool you off in the heat of gaming.

Thermaltake says that the “use of highest quality design materials, anti-fatigue construction, true ergonomic form and maximum function design, ensures the X COMFORT AIR creates the perfect balance between desired gaming comfort and performance.”

Benefits of Thermaltake

The company cites the chair’s most important qualities as its aerodynamic frame, five fan blade design, ergonomic qualities flexibility, and luxuriousness. Additionally, the chair will have to be plugged into a socket to power its fans. The fans are meant to be able to survive 75,000 hours of use; and that is a lot of hot seat gaming moments.

The new chair is the latest addition to the company’s already popular Comfort line of gaming chairs. All chairs in this line boast several features that were developed putting players’ comfort in mind. The line includes chairs with 40 adjustable armrests, lumbar, leg, and waist support and a design that contours to fit the body of the person sitting in it.

The chair also features adjustable back up to 160 degrees and gas pistons for easy height adjustment. The base comes in a sturdy aluminum and large 3″ caster wheels for quieter operation as well as better movement.
