After Naughty Dog‘s awesome display at the VGA’s earlier this month, pre-order details, official box art, and even a release date for The Last of Us has been announced as 2013, one of the most anticipated years in gaming, is upon us.

Over the weekend, the official Last of Us box art was revealed, and might I personally say, I love it!
Now, I know we gamers love our pre-order bonuses; you get the game right when it comes out and you receive some awesome stuff… what’s not to love? First, certain (participating) retailers will offer anyone who pre-orders their copy, the Sights and Sounds Pack.

When pre-ordering at GameStop, not only will you receive the Sights and Sounds Pack, but you’ll also get your hands on the Survival Pack.
The Survival Pack includes:
- Bonus multiplayer experience points
- Multiplayer melee attack booster
- In-Game currency
- Special customizable items
- Bonus skins for Joel and Ellie
