The Evil Within Has a Deliciously Gruesome Gameplay Trailer

The Evil Within, directed by Shinji Mikami, will be presented this week at the Tokyo Game Show in Japan. In order to celebrate the occasion, Bethesda Softworks has released a brand spankin’ new blood ridden trailer for everyone to feast their eyes upon.

Based off of the new gameplay trailer, The Evil Within looks like it’s in the right hands with the man most everyone considers to be the father of survival horror, Shinji Mikami. Mikami will be directing The Evil Within, which will be a full embodiment of pure survival horror that looks like it will keep players at the edge of anxiety and bring them to the height of tension.

The Evil Within is in development for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, as well as the incoming next generation of Xbox and PlayStation consoles, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Evil Within is scheduled for a release date in 2014, so don’t hold your breath for it just yet. For the time being, just take a moment to enjoy the gameplay trailer down below and let us know what y0u think.
